H.E. Prof. Koutoub Moustapha Sano, Secretary General of the Academy, chaired the fiftieth monthly periodic meeting of the Academy’s personnel, on Sunday 3 Sha’ban 1446, corresponding to 02 February 2025, at the Academy’s headquarters in Jeddah.

His Excellency welcomed the attendees, spoke about the preparations for the next session to be held in Qatar, in terms of research and printing, and discussed the mechanisms of cooperation between the Academy’s departments to make the session successful. He also spoke about the countries that expressed their interest in hosting future sessions, such as Malaysia and Morocco, highlighting that the Academy wishes to confirm this by coordinating with these countries’ permanent delegations to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Jeddah.

His Excellency then opened the floor for the staff to express their opinions. The meeting issued decisions, notably:

• Preparing an international symposium on organ transplantation in cooperation with the Saudi Organ Transplantation Center.
• Holding another meeting with Sharia Boards and Councils of Islamic financial institutions.
• Printing the 26th session research papers as soon as possible.
