Publication of the First Turkish Translation of the Book “Resolutions of the International Islamic Fiqh Academy”
2 July، 2026

As part of its ongoing efforts to disseminate its scholarly output and facilitate access to its resolutions and recommendations for scholars, researchers, universities, and academic and Shariah institutions in the Republic of Türkiye and other Turkish-speaking countries, the International Islamic Fiqh Academy (IIFA) has, for the first time since its establishment, published the first Turkish translation of the book “Resolutions and Recommendations of the International Islamic Fiqh Academy.”

This publication is a continuation of the Academy’s project to translate and publish its resolutions and recommendations in multiple languages, with the aim of strengthening the presence of collective ijtihad, broadening the scope of benefit from its scholarly contributions, and reinforcing its role as the highest fiqh authority for the member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in addressing contemporary issues, emerging developments, and unprecedented cases.

The book contains the resolutions and recommendations issued by the Council of the International Islamic Fiqh Academy during its successive sessions, addressing a wide range of contemporary issues and new developments in the economic, financial, medical, social, and family fields, among others. These matters were examined through extensive scholarly study by a distinguished group of scholars, jurists, and experts, in accordance with the methodology of collective ijtihad guided by the principles and objectives of Islamic Shariah.

The Academy hopes that this publication will help strengthen academic cooperation between the Academy and scholarly, research, and fatwa institutions in the Republic of Türkiye and other Turkish-speaking countries. It also aims to enrich the Islamic library with a reliable scholarly resource that enables Turkish-speaking audiences to access and benefit from the Academy’s resolutions and recommendations in the fields of academic research, fatwa, and education.

By the grace and guidance of Allah, the Academy will continue, within the framework of its scholarly mission, to implement its programmes aimed at translating its publications and resolutions into major world languages. This will further enhance their dissemination, promote the values of moderation and balance, and strengthen the methodology of collective ijtihad in serving the causes of the Muslim Ummah in particular and humanity in general.
