Visit of the Consul General of the Republic of Guinea to the Secretariat General of the International Islamic Fiqh Academy

Secretary General of the International Islamic Fiqh Academy, His Excellency Prof. Koutoub Mustapha Sano, received in his office at the Academy headquarters in Jeddah on Tuesday morning 03 Rabi Al-Awal 1442, corresponding to 20 October 2020, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Savani, Consul General of the Republic of Guinea, who greeted His Excellency, the Secretary General of the Academy, and congratulated him on his assumption of office as Secretary-General of the International Islamic Fiqh Academy.

Friendly discussions took place between their Excellencies, during which both parties stressed the importance of joint cooperation between the Academy and the scientific institutions of the Republic of Guinea, particularly the National Council of Ifta and the Secretariat General of Religious Affairs.

His Excellency the Consul pledged to provide scientific centers in the Republic of Guinea with the publications and works of the Academy. His Excellency the Consul also expressed his sincere thanks and full readiness to strengthen cooperation relations between the Academy and the Republic of Guinea.

He commended the tremendous support, gracious care, and continuous attention the Academy has received from the leadership and people of Jordan since its establishment. He also conveyed his sincere appreciation for the Ambassador’s recent visit to the Academy, affirming the Academy’s full readiness to do everything that would enhance partnership, cooperation, coordination, and communication between the Academy and Jordanian religious and academic institutions. His Excellency was accompanied by Mr. Mohammed Al‑Mundhir Rida Al‑Shawk, Director of the Office and Protocol; Mr. Mohammed Waleed Al‑Idrisi, Director of Media and Public Relations; Ms. Sarah Amjad Badawi, Director of the Department of Family, Women, Children, and the Elderly; and Mr. Amjad Ibrahim Al‑Mansi, Head of the Protocol Section.
