23rd Monthly Periodic Meeting of the Academy’s Employees

The General Secretariat of the International Islamic Fiqh Academy (IIFA), headed by His Excellency Prof. Koutoub Moustapha Sano, Secretary General of the Academy, held on Sunday 15 Safar 1444H corresponding to 11 September 2022G, the twenty-third monthly periodic meeting of the Academy’s employees, at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Academy in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

His Excellency welcomed the attendees and thanked them for their perseverance in their active participation in these important periodic meetings, then informed them of the royal approval from the Headquarters State, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to hold the twenty-fifth Session of the Academy in Jeddah during next December. He also told the attendees that he informed His Excellency the Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) who welcomed the news, promising to provide the necessary support to the Academy to hold this Session in the best possible conditions. In this context, His Excellency stressed the importance of all the Academy’s employees to focus on working on the arrangements and work related to holding this Session and working together to ensure its success.

As usual, His Excellency then opened the way for all employees to express their opinions and suggestions comfortably and present their professional and social problems and issues so that they can be answered and possibly solved with transparency and clarity in order to achieve the principle of positive communication between His Excellency and the Academy’s employees, in an effort to achieve the highest levels of quality and proficiency in all the business of the General Secretariat of the Academy. His Excellency listened attentively to the interventions and inquiries of the participants.

The meeting made decisions, the most important of which are:

  • Ensure that all research fulfills the requirements to be included in the research of the 25th Session, no later than the end of the current month September.
  • Putting an analytical indexing to the Academy’s Book of Resolutions on the Academy’s website to facilitate access to information by visitors.
  • Communicate with the concerned authorities in order to obtain the international standard number for the Academy’s Book of Resolutions.
  • Instructing the Financial and Administrative Affairs Department to prepare a comprehensive vision about the mechanism used to give rewards to employees who perform additional work after the end of official working hours, in accordance with the rules and regulations.
