On Sunday, 17 Shawal 1444, corresponding to 07 May 2023, H.E. Prof. Koutoub Moustapha Sano, Secretary General of the Academy, chaired the 30th monthly meeting of the Academy’s personnel at the Secretariat General in Jeddah.

His Excellency opened the meeting by welcoming the participants and thanking them for their discipline and full commitment to the Academy’s regulations, especially the regular participation in the periodic meetings that define the general directions of the Academy’s policy, and the practical measures taken regarding all the issues and various activities that the Academy is continuously organizing. His Excellency also took the opportunity to congratulate all employees on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr, asking Allah to accept our fasting, prayers and good deeds.

As it is customary in this kind of meeting, His Excellency allowed all the employees to express their opinions about the work and progress of the Academy, as well as their suggestions for the advancement of the Academy and the development of its performance. His Excellency listened with interest and concentration to the remarks, suggestions, and requests of a number of employees, calling on everyone to continue to show a spirit of cooperation and brotherhood, while making maximum efforts to carry out the Academy’s activities and programs.

The meeting made several decisions, notably:

• Distribute the strategic plan progress report to employees in order present their opinions and comments for discussion at the next meeting.
• Study the status of employees whose residence cards are under the Ministry of Interior to try to transfer them to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
• Create a new WhatsApp group for Academy employees.
