The Academy held its sixteenth weekly joint meeting of departments and divisions, chaired by H.E. Prof. Koutoub Moustapha Sano, Secretary General of the Academy, on Wednesday 11 Dhul Quida 1444, corresponding to May 31, 2023, at the General Secretariat headquarters in Jeddah.
His Excellency welcomed the participants and thanked them for their regular attendance, stressing that this meeting will evaluate the recent “Medical Fiqh Symposium” organized by the Secretariat General of the Academy, entitled “Breastfeeding Premature Infants with Milk from Known and Unknown Mothers”, on Monday 9 Dhul Quida 1444, corresponding to May 29, 2023, in the city of Jeddah, congratulating everyone on the success of the symposium, and its achievement of the objectives for which it was held, stressing that this obvious success does not preclude a full assessment of all issues and problems related to planning, organization and implementation, in the hope of avoiding shortcomings and mistakes in future seminars and conferences.
His Excellency listened to opinions and interventions on the preparations. The meeting took the following decisions:
- The “Scientific Committee” must in future review the research as soon as it is received and evaluate it directly in order to save time.
- The gift and publications committee should prepare the books, brochures, and bags available as soon as the date of the symposium or conference has been set.
- Prepare letters of thanks to the Director General of MOFA in Mecca, to Prolacta Company, to the media covering company, and to the transportation company for their contribution to the success of the symposium.

Secretary‑General of the Academy Visits the Consulate General of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan His Excellency Professor Dr. Qutb Mustafa Sano, Secretary‑General of the Academy, paid an official visit on 29 Sha‘ban 1447 AH, corresponding to 17 February 2026, to the Consulate General of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in Jeddah. For his part, His Excellency expressed his deep gratitude and great appreciation to the Ambassador for the warm reception and generous hospitality. He commended the tremendous support, gracious care, and continuous attention the Academy has received from the leadership and people of Jordan since its establishment. He also conveyed his sincere appreciation for the Ambassador’s recent visit to the Academy, affirming the Academy’s full readiness to do everything that would enhance partnership, cooperation, coordination, and communication between the Academy and Jordanian religious and academic institutions. His Excellency was accompanied by Mr. Mohammed Al‑Mundhir Rida Al‑Shawk, Director of the Office and Protocol; Mr. Mohammed Waleed Al‑Idrisi, Director of Media and Public Relations; Ms. Sarah Amjad Badawi, Director of the Department of Family, Women, Children, and the Elderly; and Mr. Amjad Ibrahim Al‑Mansi, Head of the Protocol Section.
