H.E. Prof. Koutoub Moustapha Sano, Secretary General of the Academy, chaired the 46th staff meeting of the Academy on Sunday 10 Rabiul Al-Akhir 1446, corresponding to 13. October 2024.

His Excellency welcomed everyone and then spoke about his visit to the Kingdom of Morocco to participate in the International Conference “Faith in a Changing World” organized by the Muhammadiyah League of Scholars in cooperation with the Muslim World League. He will also hold a meeting with Qatar’s Ministry of Awqaf regarding setting a new date for the 26th session of the Academy.

His Excellency then opened the floor to the staff of the Academy to express their opinions and observations on the Academy’s work progress and listened to their comments and suggestions. The meeting made several decisions, including:

• Informing all employees about the permission hours regulations, which should be limited to no more than seven (7) hours for employees per month, and more than that will be deducted from the employee’s salary.
• Assign direct department directors, rather than the staff division, to approve employee’s permission requests.
• Encourage employees traveling on official missions to take taxis to and from the airport.
