H.E. Prof. Koutoub Moustapha Sano, Secretary General of the Academy, chaired the 20th joint weekly meeting of the Academy’s departments and divisions on Tuesday 14th Rabi Al-Awal 1446, corresponding to 17 September 2024. The meeting was held via video conferencing.

His Excellency welcomed the attendees, then recorded his sincere congratulations and blessings to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on the occasion of its National Day, which falls on Monday, 23 September 2024, praying to Allah to bless it, preserve its leadership, and make it a proud and dear country and beacon for Islam, Muslims, and the whole world.

His Excellency also checked on the completion and implementation of the work related to the Cultured and Genetically Modified Meat Symposium to be held on 21-22 Rabi Al-Awal 1446, corresponding to 24-25 September 2024 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, he listened to the staff’s proposals, all of whom reported that the tasks were completed perfectly. He urged everyone to continue working and intensify cooperation and coordination between the various departments and sections to make the next symposium organized by the Academy in partnership with the Saudi Food and Drug Authority in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia a success.
