UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, held a joint event On Wednesday 27 Shaaban 1443H corresponding to 30 March 2022G in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in collaboration with the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC)'s International Islamic Fiqh Academy (IIFA).
His Excellency Prof. Koutoub Moustapha Sano, Secretary General of the Academy, and his accompanying delegation, held on Thursday, 21 Sha’ban 1443H corresponding to 24 March 2022G, a meeting with the Council of Islamic Thought at the Council’s headquarters in Islamabad, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

On Thursday, 14 Sha’ban 1443H corresponding to 17 March 2022G, His Excellency Prof. Koutoub Moustapha Sano, Secretary General of the International Islamic Fiqh Academy (IIFA), chaired the thirty-third periodic meeting of divisions heads, at the headquarters of the General Secretariat in Jeddah.
On Tuesday, 12 Sha’ban 1443H corresponding to 15 March 2022G, the Islamic Advisory Group held a virtual video discussion on safe practices during the holy month of Ramadan with the participation of scholars from the International Islamic Fiqh Academy (IIFA), Al-Azhar al-Sharif, doctors, and specialists from the World Health Organization (WHO), the Regional Office for the Middle East, UNICEF, the Red Crescent, and the International Red Cross.
H.E. Prof. Koutoub Moustapha Sano, the Secretary General of the International Islamic Fiqh Academy (OIC) participated on 14 Sha’ban 1443H, corresponding to 17 March 2022G, in a webinar Roundtable on: “OIC Through Decades: Challenges and opportunities Ahead”. The Roundtable was jointly organized by Institute of Strategic Studies in Islamabad, Pakistan and Middle East Monitor London.
