In the presence of the Secretary General of the Academy, the 24th weekly meeting of the directors of the Academy’s departments was held on Monday 9 Sha’aban 1442 corresponding to 23 March 2021.

His Excellency spoke about the importance of these meetings in order to ensure the implementation of the programs and activities of the Academy and preserve the ten values. He also spoke in detail about the professional promotions of the OIC officials while stressing his desire that every official should get his right without prejudice, injustice or favoritism.

The meeting resulted in several decisions, notably:

-To affirm to the departments to extract from the strategic plan the activities and programs related to them and to sort and classify them by month.

-To propose a date for the twenty-fifth session of the Academy next October via videoconferencing, and that it will devoted to the discussion of epidemics and pandemics in Islam under different aspects (economic, jurisprudential, medical, psychological, criminal, international …).

-Selecting the topics of the session and conclude this before the beginning of the month of Ramadan. The seminars and conferences department should send invitations to the applicant researchers before the beginning of Ramadan, specifying the submission period and its terms.

-Expedite the completion of the installation of the main electrical portal of the Academy before the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan.
