《No one can die except by Allah’s permission, and at the predetermined time. Whoever wants the reward from here below, We give it to him. Whoever wants the reward from the hereafter, We give it to him, and We will soon reward the grateful》Surat Al-Imran: 3: 145

《These receive blessings and mercy from their Lord, and these are righteous》[2: 158]

Truly The Giver of life has prescribed a term for every human being. When that term comes, he cannot delay it for a second, and neither can he hasten it.

It is with a heart full of faith in the judgment and destiny of God, and with a soul filled with total submission to the will of God and to the assigned and predetermined deadline for each human being, the General Secretariat of the International Islamic Fiqh Academy of the OIC, has learned, with dismay and sadness, the recall to his Creator, His Excellency Marshal Idriss Déby Itno , President of the Republic of Chad, founding member country of the Academy, on the 20th of April 2021. Peace to his soul.

In this painful circumstance, the Secretariat General of the Academy, on behalf of its members and experts, offers its most saddened condolences and sincere compassion to the family of the deceased, to the government and to the people of Tchad.

They bow piously before The Master of the universe, The Almighty, so that He may have mercy on the soul of our dear defunct and forgive him all his sins.

May Allah, the Most Gracious and the Most Merciful, accept him among the Prophets, the martyrs and the righteous.

The Secretariat General also implores the All Sovereign in order to grant His Excellency the Interim President of the Republic, the Chadian people and the grieving family, the strength to transcend this tragic ordeal with great courage and patience.

“Certainly we are all God’s and to Him we return”.
