The General Secretariat of the Academy held its ninety-second weekly meeting for the directors of the departments headed by His Excellency Prof. Koutoub Moustapha Sano on Monday 07 Rabi` Al-Awwal 1444H corresponding to 03 October 2022G at the headquarters of the General Secretariat in Jeddah.

His Excellency welcomed the attendees and thanked them for their participation in these meetings, then spoke about his participation in the Fourth Sharjah International Conference on Islamic Economics at Al Qasimia University entitled “Codifying the Provisions of Islamic Financial Transactions”, which will be held in the United Arab Emirates – the Emirate of Sharjah under the generous patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Ruler of Sharjah, and Member of the Supreme Council of the United Arab Emirates.

Then His Excellency spoke about the recent contacts he had with His Excellency the President of the Academy and some of the parties that were requested to support the Academy for the next Session.

Then His Excellency discussed the items of decisions issued by the previous meeting, to ascertain the extent of their achievement. Several new decisions were issued by the meeting, the most important of which are:

• Preparing an integrated concept about the Annual Session program (the scientific sessions with their titles), with a proposal for the time period for each scientific session according to the topic, and the number of researchers in it.
• Preparing a list of important personalities who can be invited to participate in the Session from the list of entities with which the Academy has signed memoranda of cooperation.
• Preparing quotations for tickets for the participants in the Session, accompanied by a detailed report.
