At the beginning of the meeting, His Excellency welcomed the attendees, thanking them for their keenness to adhere to the regular meetings of the Academy, noting their utmost importance during this sensitive period that precedes the Session by a few days. His Excellency praised the efforts of Dr. Muhammad Mustafa Shuaib during the weekend to correct, review and follow-up the printing of the research of the 25th Session. He also praised the continuous efforts of the Finance Department and the Cabinet Department in following up issues of visas, tickets and reservations for the participants in the Session.

After deliberation and discussion about the best ways to overcome these difficulties, all committees were instructed on what to do during the coming period, noting once again the need to raise any urgent requests directly to the finance department in order to solve them.

Then the meeting discussed the items of the decisions issued by the previous meeting, and several new decisions were issued, the most important of which are:

  • Create temporary groups on WhatsApp for each of the committees to facilitate and accelerate communication between committee members.
  • Formation of a new Umrah committee to coordinate the Umrah arrangements for the participants in the Session wishing to perform the Omrah.
  • Updating all Session data lists and sharing them with the other committees.
  • All committees to submit written reports to the Secretary General at the end of each week on what has been accomplished and what has not been done, and work proposals for the following week.
