H.E. Prof. Koutoub Moustapha Sano, Secretary General of the Academy, chaired the 15th joint weekly meeting of departments and divisions on Thursday, on 5 Dhul Quida 1444, corresponding to 25 May 2023, at the Academy in Jeddah.

His Excellency welcomed the participants and thanked them for attending the meeting, stressing that this meeting has been part of a series of joint meetings between the departments and divisions to follow up the work progress and the final preparations for the medico fiqh symposium scheduled for the end of this month, entitled: Breastfeeding premature infants with milk from known and unknown mothers. His Excellency urged all staff to increase their efforts to meet all of the symposium’s expectations, to step up cooperation and coordination between departments and divisions, and to ensure that all the tasks assigned to them were completed within the allotted time.

His Excellency then listened to interventions and suggestions of IIFA colleagues on the preparations for the symposium. The meeting took the following decisions:

• Assure that research articles covered the required themes and edit them thoroughly before print in a single booklet.
• Prepare media coverage and the documentary film to be shown at the opening of the symposium.
