A delegation from the Islamic Call College in Palestine visits the Academy

On behalf of the Secretary General Dr. Abdel Fattah Mahmoud Abanouf, Director of the Department of Planning, International Cooperation and External Relations, received a delegation from the College of Islamic Call in Palestine, headed by Dr. Abdullah Yousef Abu Alyan, Dean of the College, and a member of the Council of Fiqh Jurisprudence in Palestine, on Monday 15 of Dhul-Hijjah 1444 AH corresponding to 03 of the month July 2023 AD at the headquarters of the Academy in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. He welcomed the delegation and thanked them for the visit, which indicates their keenness to benefit from the Academy especially its resolutions. Then, he gave an introductory overview of the Academy’s vision, mission and objectives, and the scientific contributions through scientific conferences and specialized scientific symposiums, as well as its projects and activities. He answered the questions raised by the delegation about membership, experts, participation in seminars and workflow at the Academy. For his part, Dr. Abu Alyan and the accompanying delegation expressed their sincere thanks for the academy’s welcome to this visit, which gave them the opportunity to learn about the academy’s scientific efforts and the achievements during the last four decades. Also they are looking forward to benefitting from the resolutions issued by the Academy which presented the true face of Islam and answered the questions concerning Muslims in the Islamic world and the countries of Muslim communities.
At the end of the meeting, Dr. Abnouf affirmed the Academy’s readiness to provide support for all scientific projects and activities of the college in Gaza, Palestine.

He commended the tremendous support, gracious care, and continuous attention the Academy has received from the leadership and people of Jordan since its establishment. He also conveyed his sincere appreciation for the Ambassador’s recent visit to the Academy, affirming the Academy’s full readiness to do everything that would enhance partnership, cooperation, coordination, and communication between the Academy and Jordanian religious and academic institutions. His Excellency was accompanied by Mr. Mohammed Al‑Mundhir Rida Al‑Shawk, Director of the Office and Protocol; Mr. Mohammed Waleed Al‑Idrisi, Director of Media and Public Relations; Ms. Sarah Amjad Badawi, Director of the Department of Family, Women, Children, and the Elderly; and Mr. Amjad Ibrahim Al‑Mansi, Head of the Protocol Section.
