The Secretariat General of the International Islamic Fiqh Academy held its sixtieth regular meeting of the Heads of Divisions, chaired by H.E. Prof. Koutoub Moustapha Sano, Secretary General of the Academy, on Thursday, 15 Dhu qui’dah 1445, corresponding to 23 May 2024, at the Academy’s headquarters in Jeddah.

The Secretary-General opened the meeting by welcoming the attendees, thanking everyone for their regular attendance, and reminding them that the Secretariat General of the Academy will focus, especially during the coming period, on preparing for the 26th session of the Academy, calling on everyone to strengthen and intensify cooperation and integration between all departments and divisions. His Excellency then expressed sincere thanks and appreciation to those who have reached retirement age for their dedication to serving the Academy and achieving its goals, pointing out the need to continue communicating with them and benefit from their expertise.

The meeting discussed previous decisions and new decisions were issued, notably:

• Typesetting the book of resolutions in French and English and sending them to print.
• Updating the Academy’s YouTube channel and uploading contents on it.
• Preparing detailed indexes for the book of resolutions to be incorporated into the new Arabic edition.
