H.E. Prof. Koutoub Moustapha Sano, Secretary General of the Academy, visited the headquarters of the General Delegation of the State of Libya to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on Tuesday, 21 Rajab 1446, corresponding to 21 January 2025. His Excellency and the accompanying delegation were received by H.E. Ambassador Mohammed Al-Qamoudi Al-Hafi, Permanent Representative of the State of Libya to the OIC, who welcomed him and his delegation, expressing his happiness for this visit and praising the outstanding achievements of the Academy under the current Secretary General.
For his part, the Secretary General of the Academy expressed his gratitude for the reception and praised the support of the Libyan State to the Academy since its establishment. He also expressed his deep appreciation and gratitude to His Excellency for his recent visit to the General Secretariat of the Academy, stressing the Academy’s full readiness to enhance cooperation and coordination between the Academy and Libyan scientific and religious institutions and centers dealing with issues of thought, society and economy, as the Academy is fully prepared to utilize all its scientific capabilities to support the Libyan government and people in promoting and achieving security, safety and peaceful coexistence while rejecting violence and extremism.
The Secretary General was accompanied by Mr. Mohamed Chouk, Director of Cabinet, Mr. Mohammed Adnan Al-Fihri, Director of Administrative and Financial Affairs, Mr. Mohammed Walid Al-Edrisi, Director of Media and Public Relations, and Mr. Amjad Ibrahim Mustafa, Head of Protocols.
