“O reassured soul (27) Return to your Lord, well-pleased and pleasing to Him (28) And enter among My righteous servants (29) And enter My Paradise (30)

With the heart believing in the fate and destiny of Allah the Almighty, and with great sadness, sorrow and emotion, the Secretariat General of the International Islamic Fiqh Academy received the news of the death of the forgiven – by the permission of Allah – His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of the State of Kuwait.

On behalf of the Secretariat of the International Islamic Fiqh Academy, its scholars and personnel, we extend our sincere condolences and deepest sympathy to the people and government of the State of Kuwait, praying to the Almighty to grant the deceased His great mercy and make him abide in His vast paradise among the prophets, the truthful, the martyrs, the righteous and these are the best companions.

We also beseech Allah the Most High, to inspire patience and solace to his family and loved ones.
