The Secretary General of the Academy, H.E. Prof. Koutoub Moustapha Sano, chaired the fourteenth joint weekly meeting of departments and divisions on Monday, 02 Dhu al-Quida 1444, corresponding to 22 May 2023, at the Academy’s headquarters in Jeddah.

His Excellency welcomed the participants and thanked them for their participation in the meeting, indicating that this meeting will be a joint meeting between the departments and divisions to follow up the preparations progress of the symposium scheduled for the end of this month entitled: Breastfeeding of premature babies with milk from known and unknown mothers. His Excellency urged the committees working in session to work in the same order at the symposium and urged them to work together across departments and divisions and to cooperate in order to make the symposium a success.

His Excellency then listened to the opinions and suggestions of the employees regarding the preparations for the symposium. The following decisions were made at the end of the meeting:

• To review the research papers and ensure that they address the required themes, so that they can be approved in their final form for printing.
• Book and send participants’ tickets directly to those who have been granted visas.
• Prepare a media coverage plan similar to that of the previous symposium.
