64th Weekly Meeting of Departments Directors

In an effort by the General Secretariat of the International Islamic Fiqh Academy (IIFA) to develop the work of the Academy, enhance the principle of transparency, and put forward all new and emerging issues on the discussion table to express opinions and appropriate solutions, and based on the principle of cooperation and integration, His Excellency Prof. Koutoub Moustapha Sano, Secretary General of the Academy, chaired the sixty-fourth weekly meeting of the directors of the departments, on Monday, 28 Jumada II 1443H corresponding to 31 January 2022D, at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Academy in Jeddah.

On Thursday, 24 Jumada II 1443H corresponding to 27 January 2022G, His Excellency Prof. Koutoub Moustapha Sano, Secretary General of the International Islamic Fiqh Academy (IIFA), chaired the thirtieth periodic meeting of the heads of divisions at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Academy in Jeddah.

His Excellency Prof. Koutoub Moustapha Sano, Secretary General of the Academy, and His Excellency Prof. Enver Gicic, Dean of the Faculty of Islamic Studies of the Republic of Serbia, signed a strategic cooperation agreement between the two institutions on Wednesday, 23 Jumada II 1443H, corresponding to 26 January 2022G, at the Headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Academy in Jeddah, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

On Wednesday, 23 Jumada II 1443H corresponding to 26 January 2022G, His Excellency the Secretary General of the Academy handed over the first copy of the new English-language book edition to his Excellency the Secretary General of the Organization, during their meeting in his office at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the OIC.

His Eminence Dr. Mohammad Mustafa Shuaib, Supervisor of the Observatory of Fatwas and Reviews at the International Islamic Fiqh Academy (IIFA), representing the Secretary General, participated in the symposium held by the General Council for Islamic Banks and Financial Institutions (CIBAFI) in Bahrain, under the title “Islamic Investment Funds: Trends, Challenges and Opportunities” on Wednesday 23 Jumada al-Akhirah 1443H, corresponding to 26 January 2022G, virtually through Zoom technology.

His Excellency Prof. Koutoub Moustapha Sano, Secretary General of the International Islamic Fiqh Academy (IIFA), delivered a speech on Tuesday, 22 Jumada II 1443H, corresponding to 25 January 2022G, at the closing session of the 34th Virtual International Conference for Latin American and Caribbean Muslims held in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

The General Secretariat of the International Islamic Fiqh Academy (IIFA) held its sixty-third weekly meeting for the directors of departments headed by His Excellency Prof. Koutoub Moustapha Sano, Secretary General of the Academy, on Monday 21 Jumada II 1443H corresponding to 24 January 2022G, at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Academy in Jeddah.

H.E. Dino Saidi, Ambassador of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Permanent Representative of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), visited on Thursday 17 Jumada II 1443H corresponding to 20 January 2022G, the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the International Islamic Fiqh Academy (IIFA) in Jeddah, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The Permanent Financial Committee of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) held its fiftieth session to discuss the draft budget of the Organization and its subsidiary organs, during the period 15-17 Jumada II 1443H corresponding to 18-20 January 2022D, at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Organization in Jeddah.
