Statement on the Actions of some Jewish Fanatics who desecrated holy places and offended Prophet Muhammad PBUH

Praise is due to Allāh, Lord of the worlds, may the blessings and peace be upon our master Muḥammad, the last of prophets, on his family, and all his companions.

The General Secretariat of the Academy of the International Academy of Islamic Fiqh of the Organization of the Islamic Conference, on behalf of the Ummah, its peoples and scholars, expresses its deep reprobation and concern over the news reported by the newspaper Okadh in its issue 14239 of Sunday 16 Rajab 1426 (21 August 2005), confirming the actions of some Jewish fanatics who dared to desecrate holy places and offend the status of our Prophet and Imam Mohamed. 14239 of Sunday 16 Rajab 1426, (August 21, 2005), confirming the actions of some Jewish fanatics who dared to desecrate holy places and offend the status of our Prophet and Imam Mohamed Bin ‘Abd Allah – PBUH -. These fanatics threw the (decapitated) head of a boar in the courtyard of the Hacen Bek mosque in the city of Yafa, wearing a keffiyeh with the name of the Messenger of Allah – PBUH – written in Hebrew.

The Academy confirms that this crime is a blatant disregard of the status of the Messenger of Allah, the master of the first and the last. This crime reveals an inveterate perversity and hatred in their minds. It contradicts all moral and human principles and values, it is not approved by any of the heavenly religions, and it is an outrage that inspires sadness in every Muslim and makes his heart bleed.

On this day, the thirty-sixth anniversary of the arson of the Al-Aqsa Mosque on August 21, 1969, and in view of the aggravation of the imminent dangers in the context of the repeated threats and renewed calls by fanatical Jewish groups to storm the Holy Mosque and blow it up.

The Secretariat General of the Academy calls upon all Muslims, governments, organizations, and peoples to preserve this Mosque and all Islamic holy places from imminent dangers. It urges them to support the Palestinian people in this difficult ordeal and calls on the human community to condemn these criminal acts and to help put an end to them.

And may Allah’s blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family and companions.
